PROVIDES ARTWORK FOR PARADE HOME
We are pleased to announce that the gallery was selected as the primary
art provider for New England Homes' house in the 2009 BIA Parade of Homes.
Over 15 pieces of art from the gallery are on display in this lovely home.

11.12.08 GROUP SHOW
TO OPEN THIS FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 14
Our latest exhibit, a group show
featuring works by Mark Gingerich, Yan Sun and Bryan Roberts will open
this Friday, November 14, with a reception from 5 to 8 PM. The
opening will coincide with the latest monthly Bexley Art Walk, so there
will be other galleries to visit, including the Schumacher Gallery at
nearby Capital University. The Schumacher will be holding an
opening reception for the Ohio Plein Air Society's fall juried show.
So, please come down to Bexley and join us for a nice evening of fine
art and refreshments. |

EXHIBIT TO OPEN THIS FRIDAY
This Friday, we will be opening
our exhibition of works from the estate of Robert King (1915-2001).
King taught at Ohio State from 1945-1978 and was head of their art
department for several years. King worked in a mid-century modern
style that often reflects the classic influence of Picasso, Matisse, and
other modern masters of the 20th century. The exhibit will open with a
Friday night reception from 5pm until 8pm. |

WELCOMES JOHN SIEFERT, FINE ART PHOTORAPHER
We are pleased to offer the
atmospheric photographs of John Siefert,
a recent graduate of The Ohio State University.
John specializes in atmospheric black-and-white images and produces both nature
shots and urban views. Of particular interest to the artist are industrial
views, including shots that document abandoned factories in Ohio and West

DATE CHANGES MADE TO UPCOMING SCHEDULED EXHIBITIONS
Due to a delay in receiving
several key paintings from Europe, we are pushing our spring/summer
schedule forward by approximately one month. The Scandinavian
Post-impressionism and Modernism exhibit will open on May 2 and our
annual one-man show for Mark Gingerich will open on June 12. For

EXHIBITING AT MUSKINGUM COLLEGE THROUGH MARCH 24
Artist and gallery owner Bryan
Roberts is currently exhibiting with sculptor Todd Malenke at Muskingum
College's Palmer Gallery. The exhibit, "Spirit and Inspiration"
will run through March 24. Muskingum College, John Glenn's alma
mater, is located in New Concord, Ohio just east of Zanesville.
Thirteen paintings by Roberts are on display, including a number of new
pieces.

Gallery artist Jeff Morrow, one of
Ohio's best portrait painters, has expanded his range to equestrian

ROBERTS DONATE PAINTINGS
Gallery artists Mark Gingerich and
Bryan Roberts have each donated a painting to the February Worthington
Arts Center fundraiser auction. Mark's work is an atmospheric 10"
x 8" picture of Schiller Park in Columbus and Bryan's work is a crisp
11" x 14" snow scene.

WELCOMES YAN SUN.
In an exciting development for us,
internationally known artist Yan Sun is now showing works at the
gallery. Currently an associate professor of art at Muskingum
College, Mr. Sun holds degrees from the Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in
China and Texas A & M University. Although he has produced a broad
variety of works, Yan is perhaps best known for his ballerina paintings
and harbor scenes created with distinctive heavy impasto. To see

UNIVERSITY ACQUIRES GALLERY WORK.
We are pleased to announce that
Capital University has purchased 'Sunset on the Scioto", a work by
gallery artist and owner Bryan Roberts, for their permanent collection
of Ohio art. Our sincerest thanks to Dr. Cassandra Tellier, the
head of Capital's Schumacher Gallery, for her support and interest.
