GILDING SERVICES
As an addition to our framing and restoration services, we now offer hand-gilding. Hand-gilding allows old frames to be rejuvenated and also provides an attractive alternative finish to cut-and-join moldings. Before and after photos of one such molding are shown below. A benefit of gilding such moldings is that it offers a far larger range of potential frame styles than most makers of hand-made frames can provide. This is particularly true when looking for wide-profile 19th century style frames.
