YAN SUN
Yan Sun is an Associate Professor of Art at Muskingum College
and is also the director of the University's art gallery. He received an
MA from Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts in China and subsequently earned his MFA at
Texas A & M University. Mr. Sun is an amazingly versatile artist who moves
between realism and impressionism with ease. He has produced a wide range
of works, including outstanding paintings of Native Americans, colorful harbor
scenes, and dynamic works of ballerinas. He has exhibited extensively,
including an important one-man show at the Hayden Museum of American Art in
2006.
