Pedersen studied under Alf Trier Hansen and began exhibiting in 1936.
He was a Jutland painter and worked in a modernist style, producing both
still lifes and landscapes.

he received the bulk of his training. He traveled extensively in

Hugo Ofverstrom trained at the
Valand School of Art and was a pupil of Birger Simonsson. He was
best known for his impressionist scenes of the Bohuslan Archipelago near
Goteborg.

Clemmen Clemmensen studied at
Hakon Thorsens Technical School from 1900-1905. He later traveled to
France (1932) and Germany (1934). He produced both landscapes and still
lifes and exhibited extensively. This work, done shortly after his
travel to France, shows considerable Cezanne influence.

Carl Nielsen studied under Viggo Brandt and Aksel
Jorgensen. He was a gifted portraitist but also produced landscapes and
urban scenes. Many of his city scenes were done in London. This work, a
view in Lyngby, shows considerable French influence, especially that of
Utrillo.

Finn Bentsen
studied at the Art Academy in Copenhagen from 1933-35, under Kraesten
Iversen 1936-38, and at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1939. He
exhibited widely from 1940-64 and his work was the subject of a
retrospective exhibit in 1978. He is represented in
several public collections in Denmark.

Gerhard Nordstrom
studied at the Art Academy in Stockholm from 1943-1949 and began
exhibiting in 1944. Much of his earliest work shows considerable French

museum collections in Sweden.

at the Royal Art Academy in Stockholm and produced primarily
landscapes. He painted in a loose, post-impressionist style that often

Aage Bernhard-Frederiksen
studied at N. V. Dorph's Art School from 1902-1905. Based in Aarhus, he
traveled widely throughout Europe and in 1927 began spending summers at
the art colony at Skagen. He exhibited extensively, including entries
at the juried shows in Charlottenborg. The artist is represented in
several Danish museum collections, including those of Veijle and
Esbjerg.
