Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen and was a pupil of Julius Paulsen.
He traveled widely and spent considerable time in Paris. Johansen
exhibited extensively beginning in 1930 and received the Serdin Hansen
Prize in 1931. He is represented in the Bornholm Museum in
Denmark.
